Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Hangbuzz mobile application and website at hangbuzz.com operated by Hangbuzz.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By creating an account or accessing Hangbuzz, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to register, create, or participate in any hangout on Hangbuzz.

2. Nature of the Platform

Hangbuzz is a social platform designed to facilitate spontaneous real-world group hangouts (e.g. coffee meetups, sports doubles, casual dining, and hobby activities) between verified individuals in nearby physical proximity.

Hangbuzz provides discovery and group chat coordination tools. Hangbuzz is not an employer, organizer, or guarantor of any physical meetup. Users choose to participate in in-person activities voluntarily at their own discretion.

3. Community Conduct & In-Person Safety Guidelines

To ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone, you agree to:

Treat all hosts and attendees with mutual dignity and respect.
Meet strictly in public venues, reputable partner cafes, sports arenas, or well-lit spaces.
Refrain from engaging in harassment, stalking, hate speech, threats, unsolicited commercial solicitation, or non-consensual behavior.
Honor your RSVP commitments or withdraw your join request in advance if your plans change.
Respect gender-reach preferences designated by hosts (e.g. women-only hangouts).

Violation of community guidelines may result in immediate suspension, blocking, or permanent termination of your Hangbuzz account.

4. User Content & Group Communications

You retain ownership of the titles, descriptions, and messages you submit on Hangbuzz. You grant Hangbuzz a limited license to transmit, store, and display this content to other confirmed participants to facilitate your hangout.

We do not tolerate abusive content, offensive media, spam, or unlawful material. We reserve the right to remove any plan or message that violates our standards.

5. Two-Way Ratings & Safety Accountability

Following a hangout, participants and hosts can rate each other. These ratings promote safety, punctuality, and good behavior. Manipulating, falsifying, or retaliating through ratings is strictly prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, visual styling, software code, and brand marks of Hangbuzz are the intellectual property of Hangbuzz. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the service without explicit written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Hangbuzz is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we verify user authenticity and maintain strict safety tools, we cannot guarantee the personal conduct of any individual in physical settings. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hangbuzz and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from in-person meetups or platform usage.

8. Account Deletion & Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the in-app Delete Account button. Hangbuzz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
